Reduced Counseling Fees

Therapy should be available to anyone who needs help and is willing to actively participate in the process. This page describes 3 options available to Central Florida residents who are in need of counseling services but cannot currently afford the standard fees: (1) a membership service that provides lifetime access to therapists offering very low fees, (2) free counseling with graduate student interns, (3) and limited scholarships available through Selah Therapy.

​Option One: Open Path Collective, $30-50 sessions with local counselors.

This non-profit service provides access to a national directory of counselors who offer significantly reduced rates. Many local therapist participate in this service. There is a one-time membership fee (less that $50) that grants you access to this directory for a lifetime.

​Option Two: Free counseling with a graduate student intern.

Some graduate programs offer free counseling as part of their training for students preparing for a counseling career. While most are not "seasoned" professionals, they work under supervision of a qualified therapist/instructor and may provide good help for you.

​Option Three: A scholarship from Selah Therapy.

Selah Therapy  offers a limited number of scholarships based on financial need. Sometimes there can be an immediate response to a need, but if a scholarship is not currently available you may request being added to a waiting list and will be contacted upon future availability.
